Pomabamba, a typical town of Ancash highlands


Located at 2,950 m.a.s.l (9670 ft) in the region of Ancash in central highlands of Peru, Pomabamba is a typical andean town that I had the chance to visit.

In front of the church there's a passage decorated with family names on the floor. Also, diferrent sculptures can be appreciated, those are the dancers of the typical dances of Ancash region.
